Trip of the Week: Full Day Whitewater

We’re getting pretty excited about the upcoming summer and want to share our excitement with you. Every week until our season starts, we’ll share one of our river trips with you. So be sure to tune into our blog each week to find out about each of our trips and find the perfect one for you and your friends or family!

1st up we have our guided Full Day Whitewater Rafting Trip with Riverside Lunch:

Give us a full day and load up on fun. We’ll take you on a 15-mile raft trip down the Middle Fork of the Flathead where parts of “The River Wild” were filmed. You’ll enjoy class II-III whitewater, terrific views and a tasty Montana-style BBQ lunch. Fill up on fun and come back for seconds if you want!

Fill up on fun!

Our full day whitewater trip should be called the “full plate” trip because on this five-six hour adventure you’ll enjoy food for your soul and your stomach. Your day begins with a hearty helping of natural splendor as you take in mouth-watering views of Glacier National Park and wind your way down the Middle Fork of the Flathead River.

Midway through your journey you’ll stop along the riverbank to enjoy a barbeque lunch of steak, chicken, or veggie burger cooked to order and accompanied by fresh salads and sides. After lunch you’ll be fueled up and ready to tackle the whitewater of John Stevens Canyon. During the whitewater stretch class II-III rapids like Tunnel, Bone Crusher, and Jaws will quench your thirst for adventure and leave you full of memories that will last a lifetime!

This trip departs at 10:00am. Reservations are required.

Check-in at Glacier Raft Company in the Village of West Glacier ½ hour prior to trip departure. The trip ends at the bridge in West Glacier where you will regain your land legs during a short walk back to our office, your car, dry clothes, and a chance to purchase trip photos and souvenirs!
